Who We Are

A South Alabama native, Jayme Rosandich Majdi moved to Washington to work on Capitol Hill. Jayme worked in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant, most recently for former Congressman and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

After a brief stint working in the front office for the Washington Commanders, Jayme returned to the policy world to join the Joseph Rainey Center for Public Policy. Back on Capitol Hill, the Rainey Center focused on building bridges for center-right organizations and businesses in the energy and environment space. Jayme connected state and local elected officials across the country to share ideas and learn from federal regulatory experts in Washington.

Jayme moved with her family to West Virginia just as the Republican revolution was in full swing across the state. With a new approach to policy in Charleston, Jayme saw a unique opportunity to connect thought leaders in Washington, D.C. with policymakers in West Virginia to collaborate on issues and effect change. Through her experience working with state and local officials, she knew that most impact happens at the state and local level.

Jayme founded Washington Street Strategies to connect business leaders, thought leaders, and policy makers at the intersection of D.C. and Charleston. Named after Washington Street in Historic Harpers Ferry, where Jayme now resides with her husband Pasha and their three children, Washington Street Strategies brings state and federal policy makers together to find solutions for clients.

Jayme serves on the Jefferson County Republican Executive Committee for the Harpers Ferry District.
